I work on computer vision and machine learning, with an interest in reliability and safety aspects. I enjoy combining my skills in Machine Learning, Software Engineering and Mathematics to solve interesting and difficult problems.
At Daedalean (Zürich, Switzerland), I helped develop one of the first civil avionics based on computer vision and neural networks, in close collaboration with aviation certification authorities, leading the ML team for over 4 years.
Earlier, I studied Mathematics at EPFL, Stanford and ETH Zürich (PhD, 2016), before working as a post-doctoral researcher at ETH, the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) in Berkeley, and the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM) in Montréal.
On these pages, you will find my publications, technical notes on various topics (computer vision, machine learning, Rust, emacs, system administration, etc.), as well as various utilities and libraries.
